vs. custom split built to service a seventy thousand user Base group. Scope control was of course the
most challenging along with overall adoption of a data-centric self-service
model by the customer. Development efforts done locally and off-shore. David
led and participated with the local team doing design and development of the
overall BI landscape. David also participated in extensive knowledge
transfer and training efforts for the remaining support resources SOLOCUP 2/05 – 12/06 ARCHITECT SAP BW/BI In a leadership role he participated in the
design and hands on development and role out of SOLO’s semi custom environment.
The landscape incorporated standard content as well as custom reporting from
R3 as well as several X-app integrations in SD and FI. Dave is well versed in
Extractor design and writing in ABAP as well as data modeling, object design
and creation as well as front end BEX/Bex on Web work. He has personally
written and rolled out dozens of reports from R3 extractors all the way to
report publishing. He has created custom extractors, ODS’s,
Cubes, MultiProviders, Infosets, Update and Transfer Rules as well as
queries. He has been involved in FICO, FSCM, SD, MM, and WM . The
implementation at SOLOCUP was done with Deloitte as the implementation
partner, thus David has had exposure to best practice implementation policy,
documentation and procedure. Legacy data and requirements were mined from the
existing BO data warehouse. David managed the legacy reporting teams ( BO and
Cronos ) as they were integrated into the new landscape and their respective

–05 MANAGER SALES AND FORECASTING SYSTEMS Worked on the initial implementation team
for SAP BW Project. participated in blueprinting and process mapping from the
business perspective. In addition to this also worked on the SAP portal
design team and helped to facilitate NetWeaver as the overall integration
tool for x-app integration. This project was never fully implemented
during my tenure with UOP. The SAP team was fully outsourced during this
time. Manager responsible for support and development efforts on the
Forecasting / production planning system ( Non SAP ). In addition to
supporting a 250 user base, technical standardization and streamlining effort
was being simultaneously undertaken to better suit ongoing maintenance
efforts. Dave's duties include managing four senior developers, working with
the other business groups to integrate SAP data into and out of the
Forecasting system for the purpose of decision support. The forecasting
system was originally written as a simple sales tool to track progress and
projections. Over time through integration with many systems the forecasting
system became the central location for forecasting, invoice and customer
information. A module was recently added to make production planning data for
use within SAP using historical based variance algorithms to make inventory
demand management more accurate and nullify some of the ill effects of MRP. COMDISCO, INC. 94 –
96 TECHNICAL CONSULTANT/TEAM LEADER Designed and developed, from inception, an
enterprise system to manage all business functions in Comdisco’s European
branches. Developed in a project team, growing from two to thirty
people, taking a leadership role in all aspects of the application
development effort. Many months where spent in Europe for requirement
gathering, design, user acceptance, and installation, as well as establishing
a report with domestic user groups for the eventual migration of US business
functions. The application was developed with over 2000 POWERBUILDER objects,
550 stored procedures, and a 600 table data model being managed under ERWIN.
Both stored procedure and DataWindow logic where utilized to access the
SYBASE (ver 11.5 ) database. The application was created using a custom
object library and class hierarchy designed as part of the same project for
use throughout the company. The application was originally written in
POWERBUILDER 4 and migrated to 5.0 then 6.0. LIQUID CARBONIC,
INC.94 TECHNICAL CONSULTANT/TEAM LEADER Designed and developed an inventory system
to track company assets stored at customer locations, as well as inventory
stored at both customer and company sights. Designed and developed a customer
information management system to handle customer credit, contract,
billing/shipping information, and product history. Developed, a service
scheduling, and trip management system to manage service calls using company
vehicles, driver scheduling, and service call information. This system was
designed to be a remote access system that could be accessed by service men
from their vehicles. Application were build in POWERBUILDER accessing Oracle. AMERICAN STORES, INC12/89
– 2/93 PROGRAMMER TO ANALYST Designed and developed a prototype
prescription eligibility system, designed to manage and transmit employee
information from remote sites. Built using VISUAL BASIC 3.0 Developed a response tracking system to
monitor and report on communication response times and error trends across
X.25 and SNA switches using MICROFOCUS COBOL under UNIX. Developed multiple large scale data
conversion plans in a time critical environment, do to changes in data format
